Excellent prompt service. Our garage door lock jammed shut with all our Christmas stuff in the garage. I phoned Christmas Eve morning and the lock had been unjammed, mended and was working by lunchtime!

My wife and I are staying in a holiday cottage. We lost our key!!!The cottage emergency number was useless. No one answered or could help us. It was getting dark, and we had two dogs.Last resort was phone a locksmith. I found Tarka locks. Thank God I did. He was so so friendly on the phone, and he turned up in 45 minutes.Loveliest chap you could meet, and he had us back in within minutes. Absolutely superb...all on a Sunday late afternoon at a very fair price.We were delighted with Tarka locks. If I could give a 1000 stars I would.I'm now sat in the cottage in front of the woodburner writing this review. Found Barry’s details on the internet after my tenant had a broken door lock. He attended within the hour and secured the property. The next day when the parts arrived the door was repaired.My tenant text me the following “He is a very good locksmith, I recommend him as he was so helpful and understanding. He also said to call if there are any problems regarding the lock which is handy.”So two happy customers and highly recommended.

We were locked out of the house. Tarka locksmiths responded quickly even though it was evening and efficiently removed the old lock and replaced it with a good quality new lock. We are happy with the excellent service.
